We sat down and he asked if there were any problem areas and what kind of pressure that I liked. Throughout the massage, he checked with me to see how I was doing and if the pressure was ok. We chatted briefly about what areas on my body needed more attention, and then he went to work. It was easy to talk to him during the massage, and then when I wanted to just lay there and enjoy the silence he let me. I liked his technique of incorporating various stretches for the arms, legs and hips/lower back. He looks great in his photos, but in person much much better if that's possible.
